I'm Stephen Fisher. I've spent my adult working life in the medical sales industry. It's been a very rewarding career, but the ability to take a somewhat early retirement is a dream-come-true! There are literally thousands of things that I want to do...new places to visit...new people to meet. I can't imagine being bored or missing going back to a real job every day. My wife's name is Anneke Van Bastelaar. She's a Registered Nurse, Stained Glass Artist, Watercolor Artist, Domestic Engineer, Exercise Fanatic, Golfer, and Mom-Cat. Anneke keeps everyone and everything in line around here. She’s a VERY nice person!
The "Kits"...Top Cat and Bittie...are 12-year old (as of 2006) domestic short-hair feline siblings of questionable heritage. Bittie has feline diabetes and gets insulin injections twice a day. They have been indoor cats all of their lives...have never hunted anything other than a stuffed toy...and are truly spoiled rotten. When you don’t have children, pets often take on an anthropomorphic existence! These two have it made…
Sharon Wilson has been our best friend forever...at least it seems that way! She's also a Registered Nurse and now works for a major medical device manufacturer as a Technical Field Engineer. Sharon has a large family...2 Italian Greyhounds...Pumpkin & Sara...and 2 cats...LB & Savannah. Her folks...Martha & Bill Silva...have hosted us all at their beautiful Lake Tahoe, CA and Rockport, TX homes. Sharon's a sailor (Capri 22 Genesis), great travel partner (we've chartered and vacationed EVERYWHERE), and the world's best martini maker! She also helps us out by monitoring our mail and forwarding the important stuff. Sharon is a VERY special person...
He's so important to Prime Time that I've compiled a series of blog entries about David Wilson. Make sure you take a look at David Wilson to read about some of his many contributions to our efforts. I consult with David on anything and everything high-tech before it goes on Prime Time. He's also given me the confidence and support to create/maintain this website. David's a GREAT guy and I'm glad he's on our side... Whenever I need to have the services of a professional aboard, Captain Mark Mitchell is the MAN! This guy is one of the most conscientious and dedicated individuals I've ever known. I've NEVER seen anyone handle a boat like Mark. He's "been there...done that" on virtually anything that comes up on a cruising yacht. Read the Delivery Log to learn more about this PRO! Mark stays extremely busy managing a couple of nice boats on an almost full-time basis. On top of his impressive resume, Mark is a nice person and a pleasure to cruise with on Prime Time...
