OK…The rogue armadillo continues to elude me. No capture action in my Hotel California trap…yet! Substitute armadillo for gopher in Carl’s rant quote above and you know where I’M at with this varmint. He’s going DOWN…

I moved the trap to a new location after two “no joy” nights. This time I picked an obvious armadillo “high speed”trail leading to a tree trunk. He/she/it likes to root around plants and trees looking for grubs and worms. BIG mistake this time…

OK…I originally had this photo over in the “Selects”section. I wasn’t very happy with the processing. I did some additional work (using Aperture 3 of course!) on this image of a juvenile Egret. He/she is getting ready to make a break from the nest for the first time. I captured this down in Rockport, TX. Now I’m happy…

OK…He’s a code-slinging FIEND!

He never stops…always looking for that cheap thrill…working that keyboard until his finger tips go numb…

Here’s the story. I was having a nice dinner down in Kemah at Outriggers with my pal David Wilson earlier this week. I casually mentioned (OK…I was whining) that I didn’t like (maybe I said “hate it’) the photo program we were using here in the OPT blog. It just never “floated my boat”. Not very user-friendly…and I like user-friendly a LOT! Before I’m able to drive back up in Houston, David sends me a text message to hit the photo button on the www.onprimetime.com website.

So…Instead of taking my readers (I STILL have a few!) to the crummy old photo program, it goes right into my SmugMug site! I like having my images in one place…it’s WAY easier to navigate…and I dig the interface. Let me know what you think…SEF
