OK…This Saturday is the big day…

Back in June I submitted three of my images to the Shorelines Biennial coastal art competition. Of course I didn’t REALLY expect any of my entries to make the show…but I wanted to try.

This is “Back Off”, my image that will be on display at the Rockport Center for the Arts. It was one of 50 or so pieces chosen from over a thousand entries to be exhibited. I'm still smiling…

The Shorelines Biennial reception will be held at the RCA on Saturday, October 22 from 5-7 PM. The judge’s decisions will be announced at 6 PM. Again…I don’t expect to win this competition. But who knows…

I’ll follow up next week with all of the gory details. Cross your fingers for me…
