Blah…blah…blah…

I haven’t been REAL motivated to write lately. There’s WAY too much going on in my life these days…some good…some less than good. Nothing really pathological…just kinda sorta less than good. Metaphorically…I fully expect the sun to break out again…

I’m over in Houston right now. The first weekend AFTER Labor Day weekend holds a long-standing tradition for a bunch of my friends. Everyone heads over to Concan, TX for a weekend on the Frio River. Concan is out in the middle of NOWHERE. You can’t get there from here!

Actually Sharon Wilson and David Wilson are responsible for me getting involved in this trip. I went over last year and had a good time. Pretty wholesome atmosphere…friends and family…lots of kids…lots of dogs…lots of parents…even lots of grandparents! Everyone jumps on tubes and floats down the Frio.

I have some new camera toys that I’ll be breaking in for this event. I have a new Canon T2i DSLR and a Canon G-11to memorialize the 2010 version of the Frio River Weekend.
