OK…The rogue armadillo continues to elude me. No capture action in my Hotel California trap…yet! Substitute armadillo for gopher in Carl’s rant quote above and you know where I’M at with this varmint. He’s going DOWN…

I moved the trap to a new location after two “no joy” nights. This time I picked an obvious armadillo “high speed”trail leading to a tree trunk. He/she/it likes to root around plants and trees looking for grubs and worms. BIG mistake this time…
