OK…I’m gonna let you in on one of my secrets…a BIG one!

I haven’t been back to the Bahamas for a couple of years. Any early reader of this blog knows EXACTLY how much I love that place. I like going there…being there…even reading about people there. Here’s how I get MY Bahamas fix…

This good-looking couple is…of course…Jerry and Jeannette Wert. They are the proud owners of What Ever…a  very nice 47’ Marine Trader.  These guys live aboard down in the Florida Keys, and spend summers and vacations on What Ever in the Bahamas.

I met Jerry and Jeannette at the Nassau Harbour Club early in 2007. Actually…It was March 5, 2007!  Prime Time and What Ever spent a lot of time together that season…

Long story short…Team What Ever has started to memorialize their time in the Bahamas with a blog. Do exactly what I do and start to follow them at What Ever Cruisers. It’s just a little effort to get signed up…but PLEASE do! Jerry and Jeannette are having fun in the Bahamas…and want to share the experience. DO THIS…

In their last entry, Team What Ever had just made it to Nassau. They pulled her into the “World Famous” Nassau Harbour Club and were greeted by my friend Peter Attaloglou. Peter has been the Harbor Master there forever…and is a GREAT guy. Here’s a photo of Peter I took aboard Prime Time. Peter would stop by MOST evenings…OK every evening…for some scotch and conversation. I REALLY miss those visits…
